POLY COTTONS |
WASHING YOUR SCRUBS |
|||
| Although the best dyes are used, normal dyeing processes for deep tone colors, such as red, navy, etc., leave excess dye in the fabric. We recommend that these colors be laundered before wearing to prevent the excess dye from transferring to your other worn garments. Shrinkage averages between 1% to 3%. | Before you wash, try on your scrubs to make sure you've got the right size. Read the care tag that comes with your scrubs. The instructions below are general and may not be exact for your garment. 1.
For the first laundering of your scrubs, wash them in a separate load. Do not add bleach or fabric softener to your colors or poly-cotton whites. 2. To dry, use a permanent press or cool setting. Don't overload your dryer. When the cycle is finished, hang or fold immediately. 3. Commercial laundries use extremely hot water and strong detergents. We do not recommend commercial laundries. |
